Importing a Page

  1. Click "Import""From Notion"
  2. Browse your Notion workspace
  3. Select the page(s) you want to import
  4. Choose import settings:
    • Deck name (defaults to page title)
    • Card format (how to split content into cards)
  5. Click "Import"

Import Formats

Toggle Lists → Flashcards

The most common format. Each toggle in Notion becomes a card:

  • Toggle title → Card front
  • Toggle content → Card back

Headers → Topics

Headers in your Notion page become topics in your deck, helping organize cards automatically.

Tables → Cards

Notion tables are imported as cards:

  • First column → Card front
  • Second column → Card back
  • Additional columns can be imported as extra fields

Tips for Better Imports

Prepare Your Notion Page

For best results:

  1. Use toggle lists for question/answer pairs
  2. Keep toggle titles short (they become the question)
  3. Put detailed answers inside the toggle
  4. Use headers to organize by topic

Example Structure

# Spanish Vocabulary

## Greetings
▶ Hello → Hola
▶ Goodbye → Adiós
▶ Good morning → Buenos días

## Numbers
▶ One → Uno
▶ Two → Dos

Syncing Changes

After initial import, your Notion pages and Quantilo decks are separate. Changes in Notion won't automatically update your cards.

To re-sync:

  1. Open your imported deck
  2. Click "Re-import from Notion"
  3. Choose how to handle conflicts:
    • Skip existing cards
    • Update existing cards
    • Create duplicates

Troubleshooting

"Page not found"

Make sure you've granted Quantilo access to the specific page in Notion's integration settings.

Missing content

Some Notion block types aren't supported yet:

  • Databases (use CSV export instead)
  • Embeds and files
  • Synced blocks

Import taking too long

Large pages may take a minute to process. Try breaking them into smaller pages.
